Saintly Visions and the 169 Connection

The weather is fine today. I hope it's nice in your neck of the woods. It is rather strange for Halloween though. Maybe not strange, but inappropriate.

We're all rather excited to be heading back out on the road after almost 2 weeks off! Wow, that seems to be a long stretch. This time we're off Friday to Asbury Park, NJ to visit the fine folks at the Saint.

We go on around 10pm and there's no cover!! Always a nice thing. All you need to do is message us or shoot an email to aloud@allthingsaloud.com to be put on the list.

Saturday we'll be going to New York City. We'll probably do some promoting and hunting for clothes during the day. Our soul brothers,
Radio America, are playing with us that nite at 169 Bar in Chinatown.

We're on at 9pm with the Radio Americans on after at 10pm. This should be a firey spectacle. It'll be good to play with them again. Just wait till you hear their album.

So yes it'll be a fun weekend. Another midnite dash out of NYC will happen on Saturday as some of us have to work, so we must get back to Boston. We'll miss you, but we can't miss you if you're not there. Come on out and have a drink with us.

Also more cool shows at T.T. The Bear's, Ralph's, and a date for Crash Mansion have been added for Nov. We'll have that Crash Mansion date up soon, so keep checking back!

Also keep checking the website as there's some new things been added.

See you all soon

Jen

Still don't have an IPOD, but

if you do, you can buy the Sooner it Comes on ITUNES and MSN Music. You can buy a couple tunes or the whole disc for $5.96. It was pretty funny actually seeing it up there. I've also never seen anything relating to downloading ITUNES till then. Bear with me, I just now got a cell phone. We're getting there, we're getting there. :)
In the meantime you can get there. So go... now... what are you waiting for?

A Week Off; New Song Tonite! (10-23)

Wow, a whole week without shows. What ever is this band going to do with themselves? Sleep might be on the menu. Yes, perhaps sleep. We've been working very hard on getting this album and everything concerning it prepped for record labels to swallow up. Hopefully sooner than later you'll be able to buy a copy of all those songs you've been hearing live. Needless to say Henry and I have been casually working on newer stuff. Hey, you can't stop you know? Only snippets of course. The focus is still this record you fine folks haven't heard yet.

Perhaps some of you have heard All I Can Do. It's been circulating on some samplers in New York City and on the radio in Boston. Well tonite you'll be able to tune in once again for the preview of a new track. The song, Beaches, will premiere tonight on WFNX's New England Product hosted my good friend DJ Dave Duncun. Not in Boston, NH or Maine? No problem. The show is broadcast on the web for your mass consumption.
Here are le' details:

WFNX is broadcast on 101.7 FM in the Boston area and 92.1 FM in New Hampshire and Southern Maine. It's alsoavailable via online streaming at this address:
www.streamaudio.com/listen?station=WFNX_FM.

Tune in tonight between 9pm and 10pm.

That's all I got for now!

Jen

p.s. We've run into some very cool people we admire that have copies of the record...Bono and Ric Ocasek to name two. Yeah, we're still big fans of rock n roll no matter what we do as a band. Meeting Bono certainly tops the list of "Things I Want To Do Before I Die".

Up late and working

So much sleep lost this week. I slept for about 15 hours today. It was quite an exciting week that included us meeting Bono and handing him our new album. Yeah, just one more thing the man has that most people don't. Thanks to everyone who came out to New York last Wed. We had such a good time. Looking forward to Saturday's show at T.T.'s with Mando Diao. The Swedes are pretty good and we get to play with good pals the Luxury.

It's hot in this apartment. We're doing a bit of work on the website tonite. We've got some new photos coming round that will make their way on. Been working on a couple new tunes tonite and listening to some even better ones. Album will be completed this Monday and then you'll get to hear it as soon as someone wants to put it out for us. We're all very pleased with it and we hope you will be too. It's just a very good collection of songs.

That's enough messing about.
