Bringing It To the Boroughs

I keep getting asked when we're headed back to New York and now you have your answer. Mark your calanders for March 1 as we invade Brooklyn's Luna Lounge. More details to come on this gig. We're happy to get back!

Also, voting on Musicnation.com started today. Thanks to you we're ranked 60th place out of 551 videos!! :)

But we need you to keep voting, keep leaving comments, and keep viewing. Vote for Beaches now. You can also text V1db to NATION (628466) to vote.

Fantastic! Wonderful week thus far... coming soon... the video for Can You Hear Me Now?

Cheers,

Jen

Can You Hear Me Now?

We had a chance to watch the first cut of the "Can You Hear Me Now?" video yesturday and it's really looking very cool. Tom and Henry will be doing some more work on it today and we'll be posting it up in February. IF you can't wait that long though we'll be giving our mailing list an exclusive look at it. All you have to do is sign up for the list.

In the meantime it wouldn't be us if we weren't asking you to vote for something. Yes, that's what I'm about to do. We've submitted the video for "Beaches" on Musicnation.com. The winners are in three different categories (rock, urban, pop) and they'll walk away with a record deal from Epic Records or a chance to perform on ClearChannel's "Stripped". There's still time till the contest, but you'd be spectacular incredibly awesome to register on their site (only takes a minute). Once you've done that watch "Beaches" to get us on the Most Viewed page and leave us a comment. Thanks for all that love!

Keep checking for dates to be added in Feb. and March. That'll include a NYC date. I know you folks have been asking me about it. :)

Cheers,

Jen

Quieter Bands?

Interesting piece. Pete Townsend's take on modern bands getting quiet. He's not necessarily saying it as a criticism. What do you think?

Check out the article here: http://www.nme.com/news/who/25769

We promise to say it loud. Sometimes quiet, but mainly loud. Both are good, but it's just our style.

Cheers,

Jen

Happy New Year

A belated Happy New Years to all. The 2006 Noise Poll has closed, so thanks to everyone who voted. The results will be printed in the February edition of the Noise and we'll let you know if we won anything. That month also brings us back on the road with two gigs scheduled and more to come.

In other news, we're still working out more new tunes that may turn up in our set lists. You may have heard a couple back in November. More to come on that later.

All the best for the new year!

Jen
