What has four legs and ticks?

The first half of the year is up. Summer is in full swing. Bees are mating with birds as the North Atlantic waters are a toasty 50ºF. This also (somehow) correlates to the fruits of our interview with Performer Magazine's C.D. Di Guardia finally being published in this months copy of Performer Magazine (Northeast).

Here's a link to the article:

The interview itself was very fun and comfortable (to the point that, whilst gesticulating, yours truly knocked over his beer). The photoshoot with Pat Piasecki was wacky. Ross was bothering unsuspecting passers-by with the bullhorn— which we did not get on tape, unfortunately. It would creep me out if some 6-foot-tall tennis-playing dude with a bullhorn was saying "Hey" to me from 20 feet away.

We had our first rehearsal at the new place last Friday and walked out with another new song by accident. As soon as we get that air conditioner, I can officially say the new place is awesome. This actually reminds me of a very short-lived rumor that came out a couple years ago.. something about us having an enormous couch in our rehearsal space and internet access. People busted on us for it. Didn't quite understand that one, as we had neither of those things and could barely fit ourselves into that room. But we did have a good laugh about it in our tiny, humid, intertron-enabled couch palace.

Anyway, some more news aimed at you Boston-area folks. Our plan so far has been to can it with the live shows till the Fall, but our good friend/WFNX jock Dave Virr aka Dave Duncan (aka "Topher Grace"?) is celebrating his birthday on August 8th, and invited us to perform at his birthday show with (yes, more friends) The Sterns, Baker, Thom Moran (of Bon Savants fame), and Ryan Lee Crosby. Yes, we're all friends here, even if we have competed against each other (of course I'm referring to a croquet game with Ryan).

So, come on out and show Dave some love. And read the Performer article, damnit! EMBRACE THE CHEEKINESS!

....embrace it....

Cheers,
Henry
