Apparently we all got the memo.

Sometimes that's how shit goes down. You get together to practice, and everyone comes in with a red t-shirt. And not just any red, either. I'm talking practically the EXACT SHADE OF RED. No planning. No phonecalls. It just happens. Everyone takes off their jacket/sweater, and blammo. One has a picture of a GameCube controller (video game nerd); one with the Duff Beer logo (TV nerd); another with the Rolling Stones tongue (music nerd); and finally the plain red t-shirt (Econ Major....... nerd).

We are a big bunch of nerds.

Naturally, Hugh had the innate wisdom to wear white. But he's not in the band, now is he? I've also posted those pictures from last night's rehearsal (since I wound up leaving my camera there).

After slogging away at this for weeks, I actually had a really good time at practice tonight. The road was a little smoother tonight. Definitely a welcomed contrast to all the business crap we've had to get in order. Mind you, it's necessary crap, but it's crap nonetheless. Hopefully something good will turn up from all of this. (This is where I tell you to stay tuned for more details in the coming months).

Can anyone believe that U2 is putting out a Best Of? It's supposed to be a complete retrospective of the whole catalog, unlike the other Best Of 1980-90 and 1990-2000. I'm more than a little upset. They should be working on a proper album, damnit! What the hell is another Best Of going to do for them? I'm sure everyone else cares as much as I do. In the end, it doesn't really matter I guess. Rock music criticism is wholly unimportant, or so the quote goes (-ish).

Once again, I'm up much later than I would like to be with nothing but my thoughts and the New Radicals playing in the background. I'm off to bed, kiddies.

Shut up, you... I hear you laughing.

Cheers,
Henry

This is Hugh.. the man behind the madness.
  My mess.

The real P. Diddy is somewhere in this picture.
