I'm back on the sauce. Did I say "sauce"? I meant "coffee". I went for two weeks without a cup in the morning, and it's been awful; I felt like the living dead. I still feel like the living dead, except I'm awake now. Sweet lady caffeine, how you tempt me so.
It's crunch time with the album. We're awaiting the shipment of CDs. It's all very exciting, but it's driving me absolutely crazy, to the point of exhaustion. I'll live, though. This happens all the time, and I'm very anxious to get the final product in my hands. Booking for the tour is going fairly well, though. Annie and Jen have been kicking butt. So far we've confirmed dates all the way to Memphis, and Columbia, SC is all set as of Tuesday. We just need to figure the way back home out. Not that I would have a huge problem being stuck in Tennessee, it's just that I keep all my stuff in Boston. Convenience, yea? Should be a fun trip, at any rate. This is our first time out that far, so if you've got anyone you know from these parts spread the word! I'll post a thingie thing with all the dates below. Thingie. Finished another book yesterday. I don't know if I mentioned it here or not (and I'm too lazy to check if I did), but I'm trying to pull off 50 books this year, preferably ones I haven't read yet. Demain (this is book 7/50) was really good and didn't disappoint. I read Siddhartha when I was 17 and loved it, and Demian didn't fall short. Don't know what I should move onto next.. I'm seriously thinking of reading Harry Potter, finally (I don't wanna hear old sad bastard music, Barry, I just want something I can ignore). You know, now that all the hubbub has died down and I can read it with less shame. At home. In private. I was going to try and tackle Dante's Inferno, but after Demain I'm overloaded on philosophical conceits for the time being. Some crazy shit going in the world, eh? It'll be interesting to see how this thing in Kosovo plays out. Cheers, Henry "One Kudos" Nerdlinger
