As Jen mentioned in a previous blog, we'll be playing a special acoustic show this Friday. Why so special? It's a benefit for Students For a Free Tibet.

With this year's Olympics being held in Beijing, the group has organized a campaign to bring awareness to the human rights abuses in China leading up to the Olympic Games.

Let's not kid ourselves. It's easy for things like this to turn into a clichéd cause célèbre (look at that, and I don't even know French!), especially when you consider that Tibet has been occupied by the Chinese since 1950. But this is still a pretty big deal when you've got the Chinese government still pulling the kind of crap they do on people. It's unacceptable.
