Can anyone else believe this crap about Miley Cyrus?

I mean, if you're Hannah Montana my list of embarrassments would probably top off with "My dad had a hit with Achy Breaky Heart" and "Did you see the fucking mullet on that guy?!" as opposed to "Photographed by Annie Leibovitz". Honestly, is there anyone who's really upset by this? Was the news day that slow that a preemptive apology from the Cyrus camp dominated the news? For a second, I thought the whole terrible economy/Iraq/Z0MG Obama doesn't wear a flag lapel! thing was fixed. But won't someone think of the children? Ha. Well, if we're to assume just for a second that she did something terrible and ruined your child's precious psyche (...forever!), then you got what you deserved. Please let this be the last time you're suckered in by Disney or anyone that tells you a fictitious persona and/or actress is someone to look up to. If you're looking for role models for your kids, you should start at home.

Now that I've gotten my diatribe du jour out of the way, anyone else hear the new Coldplay song? (If you haven't you can download it for free here or listen below). I've only listened to it a handful of times, but I'm still not entirely sure how I feel. I certainly don't hate it, and it sounds fairly interesting. It's currently in the stuck-in-my-head phase, and is the only thing that was able to flush Achy Breaky Heart out of my system.

Brian Eno produced the album, so I'm really curious to hear the rest.
