HURRICANE KATRINA: Benefit, and other info

SEPT. 15, 9PM - $5 - 21
HURRICANE KATRINA BENEFIT
RALPH'S DINER
148 Grove Street, Worcester, MA
w/ Average White Boys, The Cyanide Valentine

We're playing next Thursday (9/15) at Ralph's in Worcester. It's the first in a series of shows Ralph's has put together for the hurricane relief. All the door money collected will be donated to the United Way's Hurricane Katrina Response Fund (more info on donating below). According to the United Way, the money they collect will be used for both short-term and long-term needs, which will be determined by United Way agencies in the affected areas.

We'll be playing with Average White Boys (formerly the Goonsquad... we've played with them before and they're a gas!), and The Cyanide Valentine (we've played with them before too. They're awesome, and Wendy plays viola on a track off our new record). One more band is still TBA.

We're encouraging everyone to come out to the show, (as well as other shows at Ralph's), but even if you can't, please donate to the Hurricane Relief, whether it's the United Way, The Red Cross, anyone. Any worthwhile charity will do. Believe me, I know it sounds like a tired old song at this point, but the help that's needed there greatly exceeds our short attention spans (mine included). Do what you can, and encourage others to do the same. Every little bit helps.

Cheers,
Henry
