Day off yesterday. Spent it sleeping in late and lounging about the house. Didn't do shit all day. Jon felt he might be catching a cold (which I believe I am now catching), so he drank some Thera-Flu that promptly knocked him out for most of the day. Jen spent time with her mom and sister.

After dinner, Ryan, myself, and Ale (Jen's sis) played a long game of Scrabble. I took the game with "zing". Triple word score, bitches. Not satisfied, I played a game of Monopoly with Ale and had my ass royally kicked. Fucking hotel on fucking Marvin Gardens does that, I guess.

Wasn't really paying much attention to the Oscars, but I did catch the tail end of it when Kate Winslet won for The Reader. Hugh Jackman hosting was odd. I was pretty happy to see Slumdog Millionaire take Best Picture. Here you have a cast with absolutely no Western stars, a plot centering around never-spoken-of Hindu on Indian Muslim violence, and somehow it's still a feel-good movie.

Stayed up a little longer watching a few episodes of The Simpsons with Jen and Jon, bracing for a 7 hour drive to Philly. Only have two shows left. End of tour blues is starting to kick in for everyone, I think.
